The songs of Australian Singer-Songwriter Paul Fogarty are damn near legendary. Labeled "The Wonder From Down Under",  "A Force of Nature" and even "The Quintessential Singer-Songwriter",  critics and music industry chiefs around the world gush over the extraordinary depth, intimacy, poetry and majesty of Paul's life's work.  

While dozens of his songs quietly feature in major film and TV mini-series Paul continues to present his intimate solo and duo concerts to enthralled fans across Europe and Australia's east coast. 

Born in an old six-room farm-house hospital at Clifton, Queensland in the 1960s Fogarty overcame the harsh environment and isolation with music, art and sport. "We had no running hot water and the toilet was twenty paces down the back yard in a little earth closet".  

In elementary school Paul's creative  talents were nurtured as he was given lead singing roles in his school's end-of-year productions. His mother also entered Paul in regional talent shows where, dressed up as a tiny Zoro, Paul's cute but powerful renditions of Ticket To Ride and Blowing In The Wind usually stole the show.

Paul began writing songs and teaching himself guitar at age 13, keeping all his work and practice a secret until his first public performance as a shy 18-year-old at a school party.

Since then he has composed more than 2000 original works, placed dozens of his songs in feature films and prime time TV mini-series, and performed on stages and at festivals alongside Status Quo, David Gray, Joss Stone, Arrested Development, Klaus Major Heuser, Angelo Kelly, Richard Clapton, Jo Camilleri, Nick Barker, Karma County, The Waifs, Alan Doherty, The Barleyshakes, David Flower, Jay Bishoff, John Gordon, Spot The Dog, Nadia Sunde, Rebecca Wright, Jenny Weisgerber, Jaimi Faulkner, Mathew James White, Matt Charles, Prita Grealy, Barry Charles, Michelle Brown, James Blundell, Neil Murray and many many more. 

A trained journalist Paul quit his job as National Editor for Thomson Legal/Reuters in the 2000s to pursue music full-time.

His gifts for melody, harmony and lyrical narrative allow Paul to take listeners to places they've rarely if ever been before.
